A terraced house between two brick neighbours, sliced open like a dollhouse: seven levels from the cellar boiler to the roof tank, a bakery on the street, two working pipes and a staircase a ginger cat climbs on its rounds. The street clock is your hand on the hour, and the rooms light and darken with it. Fifty things to press, each with its own sound. Pinch or scroll to zoom in.

A tiny pixel whale lives on the screen of an old handheld. Every ten seconds its pixels pop off the glass one by one, turn into a 3D voxel whale that swims a loop in front of the console, then dive back in and flatten into pixels again. Tap while it swims for a barrel roll, and tap any time to change its colours when the loop comes round.

A knight fights through three lands of a wood gone wild: the Thornwood at dusk, the Hollow Deep under the hill and the Bramble Keep at night. Swing the sword, raise the shield to block or parry, and plunge from the air to bounce off anything below. Banners keep your place, and the Thorn Warden, the Moth Queen and the Bramble King wait at the end of each land.

Ten printed papercraft sheets on a cutting mat, each with cut lines, fold lines and glue tabs, fold themselves into blocky cube animals: a Highland cow, a pig, a sheep, a bunny, a ginger cat and a red fox on four legs, a brown bear and a giant panda sitting up, a penguin standing on two feet with flippers, and a frog. Tap the animal and it calls, hops, wags, flaps or flicks an ear; pick another from the tabs; RESET folds it again from the flat sheet. Drag to turn it round, pinch or scroll to zoom in.

An endless twilight bicycle ride down through a painted lakeside town. Lean, set your speed, ring the bell and catch the floating lanterns. Every ride is a new town.

A voxel bird-feeder camera that runs itself: cardinals, blue jays, doves, goldfinches and six more species fly in to the seed tray right in front of the lens, peck, look at the camera, hang out and squabble, while a cat walks the fence and a squirrel tries the baffle pole. Tap the tray to add seed and draw a crowd, tap a bird for its name card, tap the sky to scare the flock, drag to nudge the camera.

Write in warm beach sand with your finger. Every stroke carves a deep groove and pushes the sand up into soft ridges, lit by the afternoon sun while a palm frond's shadow sways overhead. Slide Finger for a wider or finer line, tap Start again to smooth the board flat, or just watch as an invisible finger writes and doodles on its own.

Six colossi of stone and fur across eleven lands, and your bow. Walk a misty plain, the sea cliffs, a storm peak, a mirror lake, sunken ruins, a great forest, golden highlands, a temple courtyard, a frozen ravine, red dunes and a sandstorm canyon. Draw, drag to aim and let the arrow arc into glowing sigils; dodge a diving bird, a charging bull and a rearing sand wyrm, and climb a giant to strike its back. Left alone, it plays itself.

Walk the old road to the castle in first person, torch in one hand and sword in the other. Fight wolves, bandits and wraiths through seven stretches, rest at the inn, choose your road at the fork and face the lord of the castle.

No fighting anywhere in it. Fish move as shadows in the water and the falling tide leaves four pools behind. Walk under a shadow, cast, wait for the bite and stop the reel on the marks, and turn over the pools as the tide uncovers them. Twelve creatures fill a log that is also the save, each with its own card and its biggest catch kept, and the rarest only rise at dusk.

A watercolour drive on a road that forgets which way is down. Steer through the floating notes to play each street's melody.

Fish off a little pier from dusk into the night. Hold to cast further into deeper water, tap when the bobber dives, then reel against the line's tension until the catch leaps onto its card and swims into the big glass tank on the pier. Fourteen pixel creatures to find, from sprats and crabs to the moon jelly, the anglerfish and a legendary chest that only bite after dark. It plays itself until you tap.
