Shiny Gen is free to make, play, and share games. AI generation uses gems, and new accounts get free gems. When you want more, buy a $2.99 starter pack, a gem pack that never expires, or an optional membership. No subscription is required, and any one purchase also unlocks exporting your games as files.

Gems
Gems pay for AI generation: game code from the built-in AI agent, images, sprite animations, 3D models, sound effects, and music. Each generation shows its gem cost before it runs.

What one purchase unlocks
Any purchase, from the $2.99 starter pack up, also unlocks exporting your games as files: a web export (a zip you host on itch.io or any web host, which makes no calls to Shiny Gen and plays offline once loaded), or a retro game's ROM (GBA, GBC, N64), .dol (GameCube), or .nds (DS). It also lifts the weekly limit on a connected AI assistant's actions. You own your games and may sell them; Shiny Gen takes no revenue share.
