Shiny Gen AI Community Rules

Last Updated: September 11, 2026 Effective Date: September 11, 2026 At Shiny AI Technologies, LLC and the software application Shiny Gen AI and website ShinyGen.AI, our mission is to help people create and play games with AI. We are dedicated to providing you with a great experience. As a company registered in Massachusetts, USA, we've written these Community Rules to say plainly what you may and may not make with our Website, Apps, and other Products and Services, collectively referred to as the "Services" or "Platform." Our Terms of Service require you to follow these Rules, so they are part of your agreement with us. Words defined in the Terms of Service mean the same thing here. We have tried to write this the way we would say it out loud. Section 5 is the part most policies leave out: it says what we actually do about all this, including the things we do not do. 1. Who These Rules Apply To, and Where These Rules apply to everyone who uses Shiny Gen, and they apply everywhere in the product: The prompts you write. Everything you generate: images, video, animation, audio, text, and 3D models. The games you build, and the code and assets inside them. Anything you make public with a share link. Multiplayer rooms you host or join, including your username. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. That is a term of the Terms of Service. 2. What You May Not Generate Do not use Shiny Gen to generate any of the following. This list is about outcomes, not wording, so an attempt to reach one of these through an indirect prompt is still a breach of these Rules. Sexual content involving a minor, or content that sexualizes anyone under 18, whether the subject is a real person, a drawn character, or a generated one. There is no exception to this and no context that makes it acceptable. Sexual or nude imagery of a real, identifiable person who has not consented to it. Content that depicts a real, identifiable person saying or doing something they did not, where the purpose or the likely effect is to deceive someone. Content that promotes, celebrates, or incites hatred or violence against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, religion, disability, serious disease, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or veteran status. Threats of violence, and content made to harass, intimidate, or degrade a specific person. Content that encourages or gives instructions for suicide, self-harm, or disordered eating. Workable instructions for making weapons, explosives, drugs, or poisons, or other material whose purpose is to help someone commit a serious crime. Content built to defraud: forged identity documents, counterfeit currency, fake credentials, phishing pages, or anything designed to take money or data from someone by deception. Malware, exploits, or code written to damage a system or reach one without permission. Content you do not have the right to make, including a close copy of someone else's protected character, artwork, logo, or trademark that would pass for the real thing, and the likeness or voice of a real person used without their permission. A prompt is content too. Asking for something on this list breaks these Rules whether or not the model produces it. 3. What You May Not Share Sharing is the step that takes something out of your account and puts it in front of other people. A shared game can be opened by anyone who has the link, including people who are not signed in and have no Shiny Gen account. Treat a share link as publishing. Everything in Section 2 applies to anything you share, and applies more strictly, because sharing is what gives it an audience. In addition, do not: Present generated content as a real photograph, recording, or document of a real event. Use a share link to distribute anything that is not a game: advertising, spam, scams, or a page aimed at the users of some other service. Impersonate Shiny Gen, our staff, or another person or organisation. Share someone else's private information, including a home address, phone number, or identity document. 4. Multiplayer Shiny Gen does not provide a chat feature. Multiplayer carries a fixed set of emotes and nothing you can type, which is deliberate. Two things you should still know: Your username is shown to everyone in a room. Choose one you would be comfortable showing a stranger. Do not use a username that is a slur, a threat, or an impersonation. A game made in Shiny Gen can send its own data between players. If you build a game that carries messages from one person to another, you are responsible for what it carries, and these Rules apply to it exactly as they apply to anything else you make. The host of a room can remove a player from that room. That is a control for the room, and it does not reach beyond it. 5. What We Do, and What We Do Not Do We would rather tell you exactly where you stand than imply a safety net that is not there. We do not review anything before it is made. Nothing you generate passes a person or a filter of ours on the way out. We do not review anything before it is shared. Turning on sharing makes a game public immediately. We do not run a content filter of our own. Generation runs on third-party model providers, and each of those providers has its own usage policy and its own safety systems, which apply at the provider's default settings. We never ask a provider to disable one. We also do not control them, cannot tune them, and in most cases cannot tell a safety refusal apart from an ordinary error. We keep your prompts and your generated files so that your own library keeps working. Nothing in the product shows them to a reviewer. We are not reading your prompts. There is no report button in the app today. Section 6 is the way to reach us until there is one. When we act on something, a person acts on it by hand. We cannot promise a response time, and we cannot act on something nobody tells us about. 6. Reporting Something Write to support@shinygen.ai. Tell us what you saw and where. If it concerns a shared game, the share link is the single most useful thing you can send, because it is what lets us find the game you mean. If it concerns a person, their username helps. If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then tell us. If you believe something on Shiny Gen infringes your copyright, write to the same address with enough detail to identify both the work you own and the content you are objecting to, and a way to contact you. We know that an email address is a thin mechanism for this. It is the honest description of what exists today rather than a queue we have not built. 7. What Happens If You Break These Rules The fastest remedy for a shared game is to stop sharing it. That takes effect immediately, and if the game is yours you can do it yourself at any time from the share settings. We may remove a game from the Shiny Gen catalog. We may suspend or end your access to the Services, as Section 7 of the Terms of Service provides. We do not operate automated enforcement and we do not have an appeals queue. If you think we have got something wrong, reply to the email and a person will read it. Anything involving the sexual exploitation of a child will be reported to the authorities and to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as the law requires. We will also cooperate with law enforcement where we are legally required to. 8. Changes to These Rules We may update these Rules as the product changes, and Section 5 in particular is a description of how Shiny Gen works today rather than a promise about how it will always work. When we change them we will move the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Rules. 9.
